PROJECTION FLOW FORMING

In the projection flow forming process, conical
shapes, curved hollow parts or pipes are projected
or ironed using a roller overrun directly onto
the tool. As a result, in addition to a reduction in
wall thickness, a very high-grade surface and the
strain hardening of the formed material can also
be achieved.
